South Puget Sound Cruise!

The Des Moines Historical Society's 3-hour south Puget Sound cruise on Argosy Cruises ship the Lady Mary is almost here! Boarding time is 12:30 p.m. PDT on Sunday, July 19 from the Des Moines Marina (see photograph below). The cruise will castoff at 1 p.m. and return to the Des Moines Marina about 4 pm. You will be treated to unlimited fountain sodas, coffee, and tea. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase along with sandwiches and snacks. No outside food or drink is allowed. Only credit cards, debit cards, or mobile payments are accepted, no cash. A speaker from SR3 (SeaLife Response + Rehab + Research) will be narrating portions of the cruise. No smoking/vaping, no firearms/knives, or weapons of any kind are allowed.

Parking will be at a premium so plan accordingly. According to the Harbormaster the Marina will be very busy:

We are not allowed to provide medicine to passengers. If anyone is prone to motion or seasickness, they will need to supply their own medicine. Most motion sickness medicine should be taken 30 - 60 minutes before sailing for best results.
